Barstow, California

Our family was in So. Cal on vacation. Our hotel was in Helendale, 30 minutes from Barstow, so we decided to go to Church in Barstow where Jeff served all 4 months of his mission. Dad was able to talk with a few of the members that remembered Jeff. After Church we went to the intersection where Jeff was hit.

"Police Officer Doug Richards said a southbound delivery truck, driven by Russell Evans, was making a left turn from Muriel onto Virginia Way when Beck's northbound bicycle entered the intersection."   We do know he must have seen the truck and tried to avoid the collision by heading to the barrowpit.

Christmas Eve: Brad, Francis and Deniece

 These figures represent the wisemen and the shepperds.  Mom/Grandma says that everything needs to be symbolic for her.

 Grandma/Mom always does a wonderful job reading the beautiful Christmas story.

All of us.  For many years, it's been a wonderful family tradition to spend Christmas eve together.  We have dinner at our house then go over to their house and act out the nativity, sing Christmas carols, and eat pie and ice cream.  We love spending time with them.
