Elta Hjort (Francis' mother)

Elta Hjort:  Born in Egin, Fremont, Idaho, USA on 1 Oct 1905 to Charles Alma Hjort and Nora Fulcher Mooso. Elta married Otto Frederick Beck and had 2 children, Otto Jr. and Ralph, when her husband Otto (Sr.)  was called to serve a mission in Germany. She had a miscarriage while he was gone on the 30th of Aug 1926, another would be son,  deceased on arrival. 

  Jean, the 1st dau was born Sep, 1929;  Florence, the 2nd dau, was born Jan, 1931; 

  Gerald, was born July 1933;  Francis, was born Sep. 1935;  they did everything imaginable together; including working together at UPRR

  Beverly, a baby girl born Mar 1939, and last of all:   Brother Lynn  born May 1945, also a railroader.  She passed away on 2 Jan 1985 in Bartlesville, Washington, Oklahoma, USA.

Brad

Brad gave this one to me.   I was working around the kitchen and Brad was looking out the patio window.  He came over to the sink where I was and pointed to the western sky.  He wanted me to see the beautiful sky, which was blue as blue could be, but there was a circle of light with cloud ruffles around the circle separating it from the blue sky.  AND BRAD wanted to share the beautiful view with me.  Daughter like Father, and Son like Mother.  Thank you Brad.--from Deniece
